There is a certain overall feeling I try to convey in my work. I don't really enjoy stiff, posed portraits that lack personality. My goal is to capture a soft, subtle tone to a person's life. I rather images that are vibrant with laughter and candid emotions. There is something about getting that perfect shot, which wasn't posed at all and that really shows just who a person is.
My work isn't filled with studio shots and bulky props, instead it is surrounded with a documentation of relationships, growth and the rawest form of what makes us who we are.
“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt
